Nutmeg oil is a colorless to light yellow flowing liquid with a spicy flavor. Dissolved in 3 to 5 times the volume of 90% ethanol. Nutmeg oil contains pinol, camphane, Ramie, p-isopropyl toluene, eugenol, isoeugenol, terpinol, bornol, linalool, geranyl, safrole, cardamole and free methyl, ethyl, butyl, octyl, myristoic acid and so on.
