Olmesartan medoxomil is not metabolized by the hepatic cytochrome P450 system and has no effect on P450 enzymes. Therefore, no drug interactions related to the inhibition, induction or metabolism of these enzymes will occur. It is a chemical drug used to treat high blood pressure.
