It is a colorless prismatic crystal, the molecular formula is C15H24N2, the molecular weight is 232.36, and the melting point is 69-73 °C. Studies have shown that the content of Sophorine is the highest in the leaves of Sophora japonica, followed by the stems, but not in the flowers, seeds and pods.
