Methylamine (English: Alachlor) is a kind of chloro-acetyl aniline herbicide, odorless white solid. Its maximum use is to remove annual weeds and broadleaf weeds in the field, the second largest herbicide used in the United States, but is banned in the European Union. Methamidophos is an enzyme inhibitor that inhibits the synthesis of gibberellin by inhibiting the Yekisan base pyrophosphate (GGPP) cyclodextrin. Its products in the United States are Alanex, Bronco, Cannon, crop Star, Intrro, Lariat, Lasso, Micro-tech and partner.
